About Us

Crafting Memorable Dining Experiences at Kaula:Chey

Our Story

After my internship in China, I returned to Nepal and faced challenges adapting to different hotel roles. During this difficult time, my father suggested we create something of our own, rooted in our Newari heritage. The idea of opening a Newari restaurant felt like the right path.

After COVID, we made it a reality. Our restaurant isn’t just a business; it’s a tribute to our culture, where every dish tells a story and every guest is part of our family. This journey has been about finding our place and honoring our roots.

Our Vision

Our vision is to elevate Newari cuisine to the global stage, introducing the world to the rich flavors and cultural heritage of Nepal.

We aim to make our restaurant a beacon of Newari tradition, where authentic dishes are celebrated and enjoyed by people from all corners of the globe, making Newari cuisine a recognized and cherished part of international culinary culture.
